Kipot Twin Falls
is located
in the outskirts of Bago City in Negros Occidental. Like its name connotes,
this spectacular falls comes in a pair of long white ribbon-knotted waters
cascading down the mountains.
Kipot Twin Falls lie amidst the hundreds of green trees.
Separated by a giant piece of rock, the falls splits into two mirror images.
The 220 steps of stairs wind into the side of a hill and finally ends on
the foot of the falls. Rails were installed to aid the visitors for a more
secure and less tiring hike. Cottages made out of organic materials occupy the
sides of the stairs. A viewing deck on the upper part of the hill was designed
for the physically-challenged individuals.

Mag-aso Falls
is located
in the town of Antequera, Bohol. The falls is one of the major tourist
destinations in the island along with the world-renowned Chocolate Hills, the
cuddly tarsiers, Baclayon Church, and the white sand beaches of Panglao. The
Mag-aso Falls is one of Bohol’s natural treasures. With
a height of 25 feet, the twin falls is picturesque against a backdrop of tall
trees, wild plants including giant ferns, and deep ravines. Once on the site,
while bathing and surrounded by the natural landscape, one feels immersed in a
middle of a jungle with the sound of the interminable chirping of the birds and
the rush of flowing waters playing music to your ears.
Kawasan
Falls
are ideal
for canoeing
Kawasan has three
waterfalls.
The first one is the
largest and is usually the most crowded.
You can
bring some food.
But If you want to just
relax you don't have to bring in food since it's available from the resort's
restaurants.
Cottages and tables are
also available for rent.
You should rent a bamboo
raft to take you around the lake, or for a refreshing "waterfall
massage" under the falling water.
You also have the
opportunity to climb up beside the waterfall and jump into the water, just like
Tarzan!
While you and your friends
are enjoying the cool and deep freshwater, the surroundings are relaxing and
peaceful.
